Sustainability and creating a positive impact on our planet and those who inhabit it are a core part of who we are.  By shopping vintage and secondhand through TNH, you are helping to contribute to a better, more sustainable world…and you’re looking incredible doing it.

We believe that true sustainability starts with transparency and in making choices with the well-being of our planet in mind. Everything from where we source our shipping/marketing materials from, to how we choose pieces for our collections are aligned with our deep desire to minimize our impact on the planet.

Our Packaging

All of our packaging and marketing materials are carefully selected for their recyclability, reusability, and biodegradability.

  • Shipping Boxes: Reusable, curbside recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable. Made from 100% recycled content & 95% post consumer waste, shipped to us carbon neutral.  
  • Stickers: 100% compostable and biodegradable. Made from wood-free paper composed of 95 % sugarcane fibers and 5% hemp and linen. 
  • Tissue Paper: Reusable, compostable, and biodegradable. 100% recycled.
  • Stamp Ink: Biodegradable; acid-free and non-toxic.
  • Postcards: Recyclable & compostable. Made from 100% recycled pulp. 
  • Shipping Labels: Curbside recyclable with a recycle compatible adhesive.  Made from 100% post-consumer content paper & 100% post-consumer waste; PCF.
  • Packing Tape: Recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable.  Made with 50% recycled fibers and a renewable/biodegradable plant-derived adhesive/backing. 

    Vintage and Secondhand Clothing/Accessories

    By choosing vintage and secondhand pieces that already exist within the supply chain, you are reducing your personal carbon footprint in a number of ways:

    • By helping to keep clothes out of landfills by giving them a second life and a new home.
    • By reducing the amount of energy/resources needed to create your wardrobe; your vintage and secondhand pieces require NO new energy and resources since they already exist!
    • By supporting a slower, more sustainable and more ethical approach to the industry known as circular fashion.

    Gift Cards

    Our gift card options are exclusively digital and provided via email.  By doing so we eliminate our (and your) participation in the use of traditional plastic gift cards.

    In addition to sustainability and our effort to create a positive impact on our planet, we also firmly believe that giving back to the people and beings who inhabit it is just as important.

    We will be donating 10% of our profits every month (split evenly) to the following organizations:
